ABOUT WACKY PACKS

Wacky Packs were my favorite thing to get when I was a kid.  This site contains the Wacky Pack stickers from 1973 to 1977 (for me ages 5 to 9)  Hope you enjoy!

After reading a bit, I found that Wacky Packages have been around since 1967 and were produced well into the mid 80's. Originally, they were made on perforated cardboard and then eventually into the more popular peel-off stickers.

These stickers really show the change in time from the 70s to the "politically correct" present.  Making parodies of products like Pabst Blue (Blew?) Ribbon and "Clubbed" Canadian, targeted towards kids, just wouldn't happen in today's society.  Can you imagine the lawsuits?

For me, Wacky Packs just meshed perfectly with the commercialism of the time and the beginnings of the "TV Generation".  Hope this site will bring back memories of a time when life seemed so much easier.
